Documentary Wedding Photography in Dublin & Beyond

Your wedding day belongs to you, not a schedule. I work quietly in the background, watching what is happening and photographing it as it unfolds. We will always set aside a short window for couple portraits and a few family shots, but we do that efficiently so you can get back to your guests and actually enjoy the day you spent so long planning.

Intimate ceremonies & half-day packages

Not every wedding needs ten hours of coverage. City hall ceremonies, curated family dinners, garden celebrations — these days have their own scale and they deserve photography that matches it.

I specialise in half-day packages and intimate weddings. This is bespoke coverage built around what your day.

How I work

Before your wedding we will have a proper conversation about the day from start to finish via a call. The important details like timings, family formals, the spots at your venue that you like and any other key details I need to know. On the day itself I work quietly and I observe what is happening. I capture you and your guests enjoying the day. What you'll get at the end is an album that looks like your wedding and nobody else's.

Where I work

Based in Dublin, I travel across Wicklow, Kildare, Meath, and Louth, and will consider destinations further afield for the right wedding. If you're planning something intimate, unconventional, or simply yours then get in touch.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is covered in your Half Day Wedding Packages?

Half-day coverage is built around the moments that matter most — typically the ceremony, family portraits, couple portraits, and reception entrance. It's designed for intimate weddings, civil ceremonies, and elopements where the day doesn't need ten hours of documentation. See Packages

Do you travel for weddings outside Dublin?

Yes — I regularly travel to Wicklow, Kildare, Meath, and Louth, and will consider destinations further afield for the right wedding. Travel fees may apply depending on distance. Get in touch and I'll confirm for your venue.

We are awkward in front of the camera. Do we have to pose?

Most couples say this! Honestly, you will be fine and once we get going the photos will be great.

We’ll do some static poses. But for couple portraits I'll give you something to do — walk, talk, stop for a second — and photograph that. You'll forget I'm there faster than you think.

How soon will we receive our wedding photos?

You'll receive a preview gallery of highlights shortly after the wedding — something to share while the excitement is still fresh. The full edited gallery follows within four to six weeks.

If you order an album, expect the full process to take two to three months. I'll keep you updated throughout, and if you'd like to review the album design before it goes to print, we'll build that into the timeline.
