The fun when you are getting ready. The quiet before the ceremony while we wait for the Bride, the look between the two of you when you think no one is watching, the table erupting at the speech no one expected to be that funny.
I'm Aoife, a documentary wedding photographer based in Dublin. I work unobtrusively throughout your day, capturing what's happening rather than directing what should happen. You won't be asked to do posing that makes you feel uncomfortable. My approach means you spend your wedding day with your guests having fun.
That said, we will always set aside a short window for couple portraits - naturally composed & beautifully lit. You'll have the images for your walls. You just won't have spent hours of your day getting them.
How I work
Before your wedding we'll schedule a prep call to walk through the day from start to finish. We'll confirm timings, talk through the family formals list, and I'll advise on the best spots at your venue for portraits. The photography should be a relaxed part of your day. On the day I work quietly and efficiently. I know how to read a room, how to move through a crowd without interrupting anything, and how to find the frame before the moment disappears. I've photographed weddings at venues across Dublin and beyond.
Wedding photography packages
Coverage starts at €700 for intimate ceremonies and elopements with 2–3 hours of shooting. The Feature at €995 covers the ceremony through to the celebrations beginning. The Complete Chapter at €1,400 takes you from getting ready to the first dance. For a full day from start to finish, The Full Story starts at €2,000.
All packages are available with digital files only, or with the addition of a bespoke handmade album - lustre or fine art finish, and each is designed personally by me.
