Relaxed In-Home Newborn Photography in Dublin & Surrounds

You just brought a new life into the world. The last thing you need is to perform for a camera in a room that means nothing to you.

I come to you. Your home and your baby’s first weeks documented as they are.

My approach

My approach is entirely baby-led. I observe rather than over-orchestrate. I work with your baby's usual schedule, and use the natural light of your home to create images that feel nothing like a session and everything like a memory.

You don't need to know how to pose. I'll guide you on how to take the photos, and it will mostly be just you holding your beautiful newborn in a way that feels like you.

Your home, your pace

Sessions last up to 1.5 hours. This is enough time for feeding, settling and maybe changing.

Instead of studio props, we use what's already there. Your nursery and maybe your favourite baby blanket. The result is a gallery that belongs to your family rather than a a photographers prop collection. Siblings and grandparents are always welcome too.

Where I work

I travel to families across Dublin, Kildare, Meath, Louth, and Wicklow. Every session is shaped around your home and your baby. The result is a gallery that looks like yours and nobody else's.

Frequently Asked Questions

When is the best time to book my newborn session?

During your third trimester is ideal. We pencil in your due date and adjust once your baby arrives. If your baby is already here, get in touch anyway. I often have weekday morning availability at short notice.Read more here about the best time to book a baby photoshoot.

What if my baby is unsettled or won't sleep?

Unsettled babies are part of the job. Sessions are baby-led with plenty of time built in for feeding, changing, and settling. Some of the most beautiful images happen when a baby is wide awake and looking at a parent, not asleep at all. I will follow your baby's lead and not the clock

Do you charge extra for travel to Kildare, Meath, or Wicklow?

Standard packages include travel within Dublin. For Kildare, Meath, Louth, and Wicklow, a small travel fee may apply depending on your location. Get in touch and I'll confirm the exact cost for your area

Do we need to clean our whole house before you arrive?

No. We typically work in one or two rooms with good natural light — usually the bedroom or living room. I'll move a few things around when I arrive if needed. You don't need to do anything before I get there except make yourself a cup of tea.
